Latest TikTok Trends in April 2021

TikTok Trends in April 2021 have not been any less engaging then the ones in March. TikTok is extremely trend-driven, and most of the trends are like an advanced form of meme culture where you already know the structure of the video the second you hear the sound. That’s why it’s crucial to be familiar to them for native and engaging content. Let’s check out the biggest TikTok trends in April 2021!

    1. Bongo Cha-Cha-Cha
    2. Unlock It
    3. Lil Nas X Sliding Down to Hell
    4. The Clown Face (Pan con Choclo)
    5. Show Your Baby as a Newborn vs. Now
    6. The Real Sorority Check
    7. Chased by the Reality
    8. Show Me An Advertisement That Wouldn’t Be Acceptable Today
    9. I Think This is Affecting Me Mentally
    10. Catch Your Husband Cheating On You
    11. Show Something You Regret Getting, Then Show What You Turned It Into

We keep updating these lists every month with the latest trends! Click here to visit the latest article on the most recent TikTok Trends.

The Latest TikTok Trends in April 2021

1. Bongo Cha-Cha-Cha

@charlie_boy_o#wandavision#fatws#avengers#captainamerica#ironman#thor#spiderman#marvel#marvelstudios#mcu#fy#fyp#foryou#foryoupage#trending#viral#geek#funny♬ Bongo cha-cha-cha – Remastered – Caterina Valente

Have a plot twist you would like to share but you can’t do it without some good vibes? How about some Cha Cha? This trend is a simple expectations and reality structure. Just lay out the expectations, and then Cha Cha to how things turned out!

2. Unlock It

@bretmanrockTiktok y’all better know Tora when you see her♬ Unlock It (Ctrl Superlove) – Roy Kk

This sound made it pretty big on TikTok, and for a good reason: it’s fun. The trend is all about not really minding the music at first, and then doing the “finger gun” dance at the “Lock It” part. It’s some good old TikTok fun.

One of the Most Controversial TikTok Trends in April 2021

3. Lil Nas X Sliding Down to Hell

@diogoramos180Erm 🤥 #fyp♬ lil nas dropping by – John

For his latest music video, “MONTERO” (Call Me By Your Name), Lil Nas X slid down to hell on a stripper pole. The video was quite controversial, especially in Christian circles, which made it even more sensational. Ofcourse, TikTok responded with thousands of new videos.

This trend is quite interesting, yet extremely funny. The premise is: you’re at the gates of heaven, being a Karen and speaking to the manager; and then you see Lil Nas X casually sliding down to hell. We just loved this creative scenario, and it was definitely a highlight among all the latest TikTok Trends in April 2021.

4. The Clown Face (Pan con Choclo)

@mileycyrusFML is the new NFT. 🤡♬ Pan con choclo – Angi_randxm.xD

The Clown Face trend is comprised of a filter that puts on fluorescent clown make up on your face, and the sound Pan con Choclo. Appropriately, it’s used to tell stories of the times when you made a clown out of yourself. (It’s also a fact that this sound haunted everyone in the INFLOW office in their dreams.)

One of the Cutest TikTok Trends in April 2021:

5. Show Your Baby As A Newborn vs. Now

@omgitslexyHe’s actually this cute 🥰#fyp #babiesoftiktok #milliondollarbaby #obsessed♬ original sound – ✨Lex✨

Ok, this one’s cute. (A nice change after Lil Nas X) You show an adorable picture of your newborn child, followed by a more recent yet equally adorable photo of them. Ofcourse, the understanding of the term “baby” is a little broad on social media so this trend also includes pups and kittens.

Even Gordon Ramsay Attempted This TikTok Trend in April 2021

6. The Real Sorority Check

@tillyramsay

Guess who’s cooking I prefer 😳🤫 @gordonramsayofficial #fyp

♬ the real sorority check – elizabeth the first

This is a TikTok trend that’s identified with the sound. You start out with something that’s just meh and follow up with something great as the music gets more disco. And also, yes, that is Gordon Ramsay in that video. (Still feel too cool for TikTok?)

7. Chased by the Reality

@officialmaxmartinI love this audio 😭 #foryou #fyp #share #viral #trend #foryoupage #fypage #foryourpage♬ original sound – Christopher Colarusso

Which reality chases away your dreams? Perhaps you’re a teen who expected a way better sweet-16 before the Corona hit. Or maybe your thousand assignments are chasing away your hobbies. This is the one TikTok trend to let them shine.

8. Show Me An Advertisement That Wouldn’t Be Acceptable Today

@jamesofarizona#stitch with @joey.fisher10 had to avoid laughing when rewatching it lmao #fyp #commercials #funny #2000s♬ original sound – Arizona James

Maybe it’s because we are ad people, but this has been one of our favorites among all the TikTok trends in April 2021.

Our sensitivities definitely weren’t the same a few years ago, and some ads simply didn’t age well. This trend is a walk of shame for all the racist, sexist, and simply politically incorrect ads that were once on the TV.

9. I Think This Is Affecting Me Mentally

@mariaswiatkowskii♬ STREAM 1 TRAIT BANGERS ON SPOTIFY – chronic the hemphog

Got any trauma you’ve been building up inside? This is just one of the wonderful TikTok opportunities to let them all out! Simply share everything that you think is affecting you mentally. Because oversharing is totally not a thing.

10. Catch Your Husband Cheating On You

@alexandriaalthoffCan’t wait to see his reaction. #SourPatchPrankFund #GodzillaVsKongRoar #RayBanElevatorDance #tesla #cheating #couple♬ original sound – Alexandria Althoff

Of all the things, this is one title I never thought I’d write. This trend is what it is, a story of how you caught your husband cheating on you, and has the same vibes as watching a reality show. Which, we can never complain.

There Are Some TikTok Trends in April 2021 That We’re Not Quite Sure Of

BONUS: Show Something You Regret Getting, Then Show What You Turned It Into

@pumatheweirdorussian edition (of course it’s not even natural fur) #fyp♬ original sound – sam aldridge

This one, I’m not quite sure of. It is undoubtedly a trend, that’s for sure. But it’s a little too eerie and always startles me ever so slightly in my mindless TikTok scrolls.

The concept is, you show your pet followed by an item that looks like it. So that it’s like you made a carpet out of your dog, get it? I’ll leave you to that cursed image.

Some of the trends in March are also still active, so don’t forget to check them out as well!
