The Latest TikTok Trends in July 2021

1. Adult Swim:

@thegendrbendr[adult swim]♬ Running Away – VANO 3000 & BADBADNOTGOOD & Samuel T. Herring

This has been one of the most creative and visually stunning TikTok Trends in July 2021.

Adult Swim is a TV channel, which resides in the same frequency as Cartoon Network. So when Cartoon Network decides not to be Cartoon Network anymore, usually after the evening, the channel turns into Adult Swim with some iconic intros.

Now TikTok users are replicating those intros, making the Adult Swim logo appear on unusual places. And the results are truly amazing.

And if you need a video explanation about the trend, here’s one in the form of a TikTok.

2. Responses to Bo Burnham’s “Inside”

@abigailbarlowwwWrote a Tiktok version of bo’s internet song 🙂 #boburnham #inside #fypシ♬ Internet song parody by Abigail Barlow – Abigail Barlow

Bo Burnham recently released his latest comedy special, “Inside”. Revolving around the theme of “staying home for a year”, the special is more gloomy than it is funny. As you can imagine, this makes it absolutely perfect for Gen Z.

TikTok has been full of responses to Burnham’s songs from the special, including some lovely TikTok editions to “Welcome to the Internet”, called “Welcome to Your For You Page”

3. The Most Adorable TikTok Trend in July 2021: Big Eyes (Hello My Name Is Zuzi)

@homm9k#yolohouse♬ YALL ARENT ORIGINAL AND ITS SAD STOP COPYING ME – Tik Toker

The song that goes “Hello my name is Zuzi, that’s Zuzi with the Z” went viral on TikTok. Along with a special filter that enlarges your eyes, I have to say this has been one of the most adorable TikTok Trends in July 2021.

4. Pitbull’s Been There Done That

@rodI’m sure mr worldwide spent his fair share trying to figure out a SUM #work #corporate #office #job #excel♬ Time of Our Lives – Pitbull & Ne-Yo

Ever been in some pretty dire straits? Ever got fired, or had to cope with corporate stress? Just remember, Pitbull’s been there done that. This trend is for all those places where Pitbull hasn’t been and all the things he hasn’t done.

5. The Most Reckless TikTok Trend in 2021: Like I Give A Shit

@elizuhhhhhbrie, goat cheese, gouda… i want it all #fyp #lactoseintolerant #dairyqueen #TubiTaughtMe♬ All Eyes On Me – Bo Burnham

What’s that one thing that is pretty much real but you don’t really care about? Your lactose allergies? Your constantly falling grades? This is that one TikTok Trend in July 2021 where you can share all about them.

Also, this is yet another sound from Bo Burnham’s Netflix special.

6. The Kiss Me More Ding

@seandaman85Love wins ❤️ they know now lol #pridemonth #pridemonth🏳️‍🌈 #gay #couples #married #MyPride #love♬ Kiss Me More (feat. SZA) – Doja Cat

Remember that iconic “ding” in Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More”? This is its most creative use yet.

The ding has been used to symbolize many things. But the most memorable ones have been the ones referring to Pride Month.

7. Australian Accents

@itstallytbh#foryou #foryoupage #fyp♬ original sound – tally

TikTok’s been quite hung up on Australian accents lately. The latest trend, has been impersonations where words like “water bottle” and “yellow” thrived. Not really into impersonations? I guess that’s an “Oh norr” moment for you.

8. What You Really Sound Like

@smilegena“No worries if not!!!!” (ib: @charlieajw ) #fyp♬ original sound – Gena Barrett

We’ve all been there, listening to our recorded voices in a state of shock about how we really sound. This TikTok Trend in July 2021 talks about that feeling, but in the form of voice messages. The results, are hilarious.

9. The Pixar Filter

@tylershawmusicClassic Pixar scene #pixar #character #pov #animation #movie #acting♬ Up – Movie Theme – Giampaolo Pasquile

Snapchat recently released a filter that turns you into a typical Pixar character with large eyes and ears that stick out. Of course, TikTok creators could not go without recreating their favorite Pixar moments with their very own avatars.

10. I Really Don’t Think It’s Strong Enough

@jeffums19Copied from @srose00 😂🍸♬ Believe – Cher

We’ve all dabbled in some home bartending during the pandemic, and got used to our own heavy handed pours. Now that everyone’s back in bars, standard measures just don’t cut it. The drinks at the bar are simply not strong enough, no.

Bonus TikTok Trend in July 2021: Let Your Goofy Side Shine Through

@robdon567#stitch with @_andrewcurtiss Follow for more quirky tips 🤪 #nyc♬ You Found Me – Instrumental Pop Songs

A video by Andrew Curtis, saying “It’s totally ok to let your goofy side shine through” recently went viral. And the video was, how do we put it kindly, a bit cringe. Since then, other TikTok creators have been responding with nonsense goofs, just to make fun.
