Foodie Influencers You Should Follow

In just over ten years, the web has experienced the creation of thousands of blogs of all kinds and species: sports, fashion, motors, nature, animals and above all – food.

In fact, there isn’t a day that social media doesn’t talk about food, cuisine, restaurants, and recipes. Interest in food is on the rise, and more and more people are interested in good eating, balanced and healthy food. And foodies take the lead when it comes to bringing that passion to social media.

Foodie Influencers

If there is someone who really knows the gastronomic scene and who knows how to get the best out of each dish, it is the foodies. They are driven by a great passion for food and recipes, combined with the ability to use social media.

Foodie influencers are nothing new, but it is true that as a result of the confinement caused by the pandemic, cooking at home has become a discovery. We could say that we have witnessed a foodie revolution in 2020. Many accounts dedicated to gastronomy have appeared – the good thing is that they are not all the same. Each one explains the kitchen in an innovative, different and entertaining way, either by the type of food they share or by the way in which they guide their posts.

The world of foodies is wide and varied, but there are few who manage to establish themselves. We have selected our 10 favorite accounts to follow the latest news in restaurants, food photography and healthy and easy recipes.

Chelsey White

With almost a million and a half followers around the world, the young pastry chef Chelsey prepares cakes, macarons, cupcakes, cookies, typical American cinnamon rolls, brownies and all kinds of sweets. As she explains, unlike many professionals, she did not grow up in the kitchen with her mother or grandmother: “I don’t have a treasure trove of family recipes and I had absolutely no experience before I found my passion at the age of 22,” she says on her blog. It all started when she decided to make a birthday cake for herself. “This passion has progressed through trial and error,” she says, and has resulted in a sugar-filled TikTok account.
