Best of TikTok Trends in 2022
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Hello everyone! This is the article you have been waiting for!

We compile the best TikTok trends of 2022! It was a great year, and there were various trends so far. We witnessed some notable trends on TikTok. And here are our best picks so far!

1- “I like it, Picasso.”

@lottefeyen1 I like it, Picasso 🤌🏼@maximethefirst 💇🏼‍♀️✂️ #NewHair #Choppedit #shorthair #bob #blondebob #shorthair ♬ Whats this I like it Picasso Yeah datway – ReefaTV

The creators of TikTok use this trend to show something they desire, like, or think looks absolutely fabulous on them. This could be an outfit, home decoration, new car painting, you name it. The original sound of this trend is when a guy asks two people about what they are doing. When the response is ‘art project,’ he says, “ooh, I like it, Picasso!”

2- “That’s not my name.”

@michaeldcohen My name is #Schwoz but they call me… #thatsnotmyname #henrydanger #dangerforce ♬ original sound – Michael D. Cohen

If you name your pet but never call them by their names, this trend might suit you the best. The song they used is ‘That’s not my name’ by The Ting Tings. And the chorus goes;

They call me hell

They call me Stacey

They call me Her

They call me Jane

That’s not my name

With this chorus, you put your pet’s name, and with each line, you type the name you call your pet. Sometimes, it is never even similar to the original names.

3- “The Jiggle Jiggle.”

@iantollefsen69 #fyp #jigglejiggle #originalvideo ♬ original sound – Ian Tollefsen

A scene of an interview explodes the “jiggle jiggle” trend. A man named X was answering a question about if he had ever rapped before. Then he started to do a cappella of a track he used to rap. The rest is history.

4- “It’s a CORN.”

@schmoyoho intro song for any meal/snack with corn 🌽 – from iconic interview on @doingthings ♬ It’s Corn – Tariq & The Gregory Brothers & Recess Therapy

Sometimes happiness is very simple. Like, simple as corn! Because it is corn! And when corn meets with butter, who can beat it? Can you imagine a more beautiful thing? You simply can’t 🙂

5- “It’s about damn time.”

@mermaidsirenity The scuba divers watching me like 🤠 ❓@lizzo #aboutdamntime #mertok #mermaidtiktok #underwaterdance ♬ About Damn Time – Lizzo

It is a viral dance where you can dance to a song named “About damn time” by Lizzo. Since it is a very catchy and fast-paced song, you can create viral dance content, and with a bit of creativity, it can make your TikTok go viral.

6- The inverted camera trend

@joaquin.fugini #pegar un video de @th0ts.are.us #inverted ♬ deja vu – Olivia Rodrigo

This trend has divided the entire society of social media in half! The trend is effortless. There is a filter that flips your image 180 degrees, and it is very shocking how people change so much. And it is more strange that some people look the same!

7- “How did I end up in this situation.”

@camillalori wonder how long julie will use this against me 🙄♬ Originalton – POV’s

Yeah, this is us. You are probably wondering how people end up in situations. This is a beautiful trend that showcases a story with photos. And it is an excellent way of showing people what happened before!

8- “What I ordered vs. what I got”

@essieandmaurice What I ordered vs what I got 🥴 #prettylittlething #whatiorderedversuswhatigot #fashiontiktok #greenscreen #fyp #greenscreenvideo ♬ original sound – Kneely_Knight

We all shop online. It is the most common way to shop these days. But sometimes, things are going differently than we expected. In this trend, you can show people what you bought online and how it ended up.

9- “The interview.”

@leon.ond That was interesting #college #interview #fyp ♬ original sound – Leon Ondieki

Interviews are getting very popular, and fun to watch videos on TikTok. Since there are endless possibilities of things you can ask strangers, there are millions of contents you can come up with. Sometimes we can not even imagine the answers we get!

10-Flashback trend

@djprecise The last few hit different 😮‍💨 #2017 #flashback #throwback #nostalgia ♬ original sound – DJ Precise

As every year, the “Flashback” trend is a cultural thing now. Most of the creators of TikTok shares the photos and videos they shot this year. You can choose the best 5 of them with a slow-paced song or post them all! It is up to you and your creativity only. We could not leave this trend out of 2022’s top trends.

As the Inflow Network team, we hope you had a fantastic year, and our only wish is to wish you an even better year! Remember to follow us on our socials if you are interested in our content. Happy, wonderful new year, everyone!
