And aspirations of taking to stage in the ever-expanding world of influencers is stronger than ever before among the community. And becoming a renowned creator on the internet seems to be the stuff of dreams for many. But how hard is it really? Could you become an influencer? Can anyone be an influencer? “You Need Discipline”

Yes said, Ruba Zai, in her interview with us. Ruba stated that  “There are a lot of people and there are a lot of different markets, all appealing to a different type of creator”. And while she agreed that anyone could theoretically become an influencer, she also reminded that you need a lot of discipline. “You do need discipline and you need a full-time strategy for it to become your real job”.

“You have to find your niche”

Saraa Zai was quick with a “Yes!”. “You just have to find your niche and you have to stick to it” she said. She also pointed out that you have to be consistent with your uploads and she mentioned that keeping to a schedule and being disciplined is what’s most crucial for success on the internet.

“Anyone With the Passion Can!”

Talking to our cameras, Amena Khan, while agreeing everyone could, also made the point that only those who had the passion could realistically do it. Supporting her view, Amena said that just having access to the technology was enough to enable anybody to become an influencer, unless of course, they lacked the passion.

“You Have to Be Serious About Your Work”

“Everybody wants to become an influencer because of gifts, money, and fame” said Moura but she was quick to add that you should finish school and get your diploma first, before thinking of pursuing fame online.  And for those who were thinking of pursuing this career, Moura pointed out that “you have to be serious about your work and treat as such”.
